A leading national direct lender is expanding its originations team and seeking a proven

Managing Director – Originations

to grow Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C‑PACE) loan production in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a seasoned producer with strong CRE finance experience who thrives in high-impact, entrepreneurial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Source, originate, and close C‑PACE loans across commercial asset classes.

Develop and maintain strong borrower, broker, and developer relationships.

Integrate C‑PACE into complex capital stacks alongside construction, bridge, and permanent debt.

Manage the full deal lifecycle including sourcing, underwriting input, term sheet negotiation, and closing.

Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM documentation.

Represent the platform at industry conferences, networking events, and market‑facing activities.

Qualifications

Minimum

5+ years of direct commercial real estate loan origination experience .

Demonstrated track record of originating and closing

$20M+ construction, development, or refinance loans

since 2022.

Strong knowledge of capital structures, underwriting fundamentals, and debt products.

Proven ability to source and close business independently (not just in a support role).

Established network with developers, property owners, mortgage brokers, and capital providers.

Entrepreneurial, self‑starter mindset with a collaborative, professional approach.
