Cost Accountant
We are helping our client find a skilled Cost Accountant to join their dynamic team that is focused on operational excellence and financial transparency. This role is onsite in Franklin, TN.
Salary up to $87,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze cost variances across product lines and locations.
Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including GRNI accounts.
Prepare monthly cost reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on experience with Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reconciliation.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
