Mutual of Omaha . This full‑time, regular position is part of our Accelerator Program, designed to launch your career in financial services by training you in selling Individual Insurance products and building a sustainable financial practice.

What We Can Offer You

Earnings of $36,000–$75,000 in your first year, plus uncapped incentives after training.

$1,000 bonus after successful completion of the trainee period and promotion to Financial Representative.

Accelerator Program that transitions you to an independent Financial Advisor.

401(k) plan with 2% company contribution and 6% match.

What You’ll Do

Participate in a comprehensive program to develop holistic financial advice skills, including classroom discussion, goal setting, and progress evaluation.

Gain direct sales experience marketing Individual Insurance products and pass a sales process competency test.

Cultivate prospecting skills (research, targeting, networking, communication) through personal networks, community events, and social media.

Develop in‑depth knowledge of our product offerings and demonstrate expertise in features and benefits.

Oversee content, proposals, and paperwork flow across field and office to ensure seamless application and underwriting processes.

What You’ll Bring

Successfully meet all trainee program requirements.

Obtain required insurance licenses before starting (up to two attempts for Life and Health exam).

Pass CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing; securities licensing required within 24 months.

Highly self‑motivated and results‑oriented, working independently and as part of a team.

Travel up to 50% of the time, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, and have reliable transportation.

Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value diverse ideas, and listen courageously.

Preferred

Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, products, and marketing practices.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
