Position Overview
Valiant Residential is seeking a bi‑lingual Leasing Consultant responsible for leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Greet prospects and qualify all criteria.
Prepare move‑in packages and lease paperwork.
Record all visits on appropriate reports and file guest cards.
Inspect units and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
Have prospect complete application and secure deposit per procedures and Fair Housing.
Submit processed applications for approval and notify Community Manager.
Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market competition data.
Represent the company professionally at all times.
Accept rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
Type lease, complete paperwork, and input Yardi system accurately; review with Community Manager before signatures.
Assist management team with various tasks as required.
Consistently implement community policies.
Requirements
Experience working with the public and/or sales.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
Support and contribute to the community team.
Operate telephone, PC, Microsoft Office, and community software.
Positive attitude and smile under all circumstances.
Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Two (2) years experience in relevant customer service.
Professional appearance in the community.
Comply with handbook expectations.
Diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation.
Bi‑lingual.
