Base Pay Range $18.32/hr - $29.31/hr
Position Description The New Business Policy Representative manages life insurance applications from submission to policy delivery, ensuring accurate processing and compliance, and coordinates with underwriting, agents, and medical vendors to secure underwriting decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
Process an average caseload of 70-90 new applications per month.
Manage and maintain accurate case activity records in a paperless environment.
Address customer inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person as a front‑line representative.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with underwriting, legal, compliance, and other departments.
Adhere to industry/state regulations, audit recommendations, and internal compliance directives.
Maintain a high level of customer service and turnaround time, meeting accuracy and quality standards.
Position Location Hybrid role – work partially in office and partially from home.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
0‑2 years of experience in a customer service or insurance environment (preferred).
Strong typing skills and ability to multitask across systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self‑directed with strong independent judgment and problem‑solving ability.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
