Position Overview As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Review and post journal entries, and monitor transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections.
Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with other teams to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported within set timelines.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to key stakeholders.
Financial Analysis: Conduct a detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.
Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and provide support during audits. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors as needed.
Required Experience and Skills
4 years minimum experience in full-cycle accounting.
Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Professional and excellent communication.
Organized, articulate, with good writing and verbal skills.
Attention to detail.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
