Requirements
Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time
High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school
At least 18 years of age
Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Job Description Under immediate direction, provides exceptional customer service, including receipt and payment of cash, in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:
Following established policies in accordance with the bank and supervisor’s guidance
Achieving monthly new account production targets
Processing deposits and payouts accurately, recording transactions, and balancing daily operations
Receiving cash and checks, verifying amounts, and checking endorsements
Examining cash to prevent counterfeit checks and IDs
Entering transactions into the computer and issuing receipts
Selling and preparing money orders, cashier's checks, wires, bonds, travelers' checks, and CDs
Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
Cross-selling bank services and products
Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking clients
Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Environmental and Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Work in a high-volume, stressful, and noisy environment
Operate computers and office machinery
Lift up to 25 lbs
