We are looking for a
Sales Agent
to join our team in our
Peoria Heights, IL
office. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in-person relationship building in the community. This is not a remote position. Compensation
This role offers base pay with uncapped commissions. Base pay range:
$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr . The typical training salary is
$55k - $65k . Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from
$55k - $75k . There is potential for top performers to earn over
$100k

Assist customers with insurance solutions from top national and regional carriers (including Auto, Home, and Life). Participate in paid training (including licensing training) and mentorships. Sales support, including earning commission for leads even if other team members close the deals. Qualifications
Preferred Experience: Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers. Licenses: A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life. Required Skills: Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills; well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills; great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers; effective time management and organizational skills; ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines; familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.
