About the Role
The Audit & Collections Analyst will join the Professional Services Division of Green Key Resources onsite in Rockville, MD. The analyst is responsible for ensuring all audit and collection activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established policies, trust agreements, and benefit plan administration requirements. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and mail audit announcement letters; maintain database and accounting records for tracking purposes. Gather and provide required documentation for auditors to complete audits; monitor the progress of pending audits. Process completed audits, notify employers of results, and ensure prompt collection of any delinquent contributions. Review auditor invoices for accuracy and process related payments. Prepare and mail delinquency letters to employers as required. Communicate with employers to address and resolve outstanding payment issues. Provide administrative support to attorneys engaged in collection efforts. Ensure pension overpayments are submitted for recovery and monitor their status. Review reports to identify employers delinquent in filing monthly payroll reports and follow up accordingly. Represent the organization in communications with external parties, including attorneys and fund administrators, to negotiate payments or services. Negotiate repayment terms and prepare repayment agreements. Refer unresolved delinquencies to legal counsel per established guidelines and track legal status updates. Recommend actions to address any employer overpayments identified. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in auditing, collections, or a related financial role. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Experience with Taft-Hartley Trust Funds, benefit plan administration, or prior auditing experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple complex issues while maintaining professionalism and a cooperative attitude. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and investigative skills with attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and external partners. Base pay range
$60,000 / yr – $70,000 / yr Location: Rockville, MD
