Position Title: Staff Auditor III - Remote, USA or Hybrid in Tulsa, OK
Status: Exempt
Reports to: Senior Staff Auditor Position Summary: The Staff Auditor III will lead various auditing and compliance projects for the client’s company. Duties/Responsibilities:
Minimum Of 2 Years' Relevant Audit Experience
Monitors other auditors and their projects to ensure each company’s adherence to acceptable accounting standards.
Maintains current information of and accounting statements.
Plans and completes other assigned segments of the audit or other tasks assigned by the Senior Staff Auditor.
Collects all documentation necessary for reporting and audits.
Identifies any deficiencies within the auditing process and meets with appropriate staff to resolve such deficiencies.
Reports audit findings to the Senior Staff Auditor.
Records, reviews, and interprets data to determine the effectiveness of external operations.
Examines records, reports, receipts, or other documents and compares them to company assets and liabilities.
May be assigned responsibility of completion of entire engagements, where appropriate.
Maintain a billable percentage of 75% and realization of 90% each quarter.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting
Ability and willingness to travel heavily during certain times of year (typically Feb-May, but as needed)
Excellent understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to research various types of company documents and budgets to identify necessary information for specific audits
Ability to complete work within a specified time frame
Proficient with accounting software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Ability to keep information confidential
Ability to learn new or updated software
Ability to be punctual and present for work and/or required work-related events Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
