$19.00/hr - $24.00/hr Purpose

As a Relationship Banker, you will drive productive sales and service activities, develop new business by educating existing and potential clients and exemplify Five Star Bank’s HEART values. Essential Functions

Demonstrates knowledge of all bank products and services and accurately processes deposits, lending applications, and account opening transactions. Achieves individual and team goals. Engages consumer and small business customers through proactive advice-led consultation. Maintains a confident and professional demeanor to establish trust and gain customer knowledge. Identifies financial needs and recommends personalized solutions. Proactively engages prospective consumer and small business customers within the market. Collaborates with business partners and refers opportunities to mortgage, wealth, insurance and commercial banking. Assists in community events and supports Five Star Bank-sponsored community initiatives, activities and programs. Maintains knowledge and compliance with the Bank\'s Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance and completes assigned training. Introduces customers to alternative banking solutions including mobile and digital banking, and ATMs/ITMs. Resolves customer account issues applying bank policies and procedures. Supports daily operations as required and assists with transactional service tasks. Processes customer transactions (deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, etc.) in a courteous and professional manner and maintains a cash drawer with proper balancing. Participates in cash handling controls and related procedures as assigned. Demonstrates Five Star Bank experience standards in every interaction, incorporating teamwork, leadership by example, and service excellence. Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience Minimum 1 year (preferably in financial services) of sales and customer service experience, managing new and existing customer relationships and achieving revenue goals through advisory-based consulting. Competencies

Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone with the ability to personalize product benefits to customers with varying needs. Knowledge of bank products and services and a strong advice-led consultative approach. Proven ability to prospect and network to acquire new customers. Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships. Experience with banking systems and platforms. Desire to improve customers\' financial well-being through education and advice. Strong interpersonal skills, self-starting and organizational abilities with multitasking and prioritization. Ability to thrive in a team environment and learn new technology effectively. Physical Requirements
