You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining HSE programs across diverse operations, from Bioprocessing to Warehousing.**Your Responsibilities:*** Develop, implement, and maintain HSE procedures and programs in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including air, water, waste, and hazardous materials management.* Coordinate and provide HSE training and awareness initiatives across all departments.* Champion a Safety First, Quality Always mindset throughout the organization and stay current with industry standards.**What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.* **Experience:** A minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably cGMP, biotech, or pharmaceutical).* **Top 2 skills:** Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements; Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar management systems.**What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):*** Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Effective communication with leadership and strong interpersonal skills.* Ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.* Experience managing waste disposal, recycling, and pollution prevention programs.**Additional Information:*** **Travel:** Minimal (estimated 5-10% annually), primarily to other Elanco sites within the U.S.* **Location:** Onsite role based in Elwood, KS.
