Monarch Beach Golf Links is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Cook. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. The Cook will assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all food outlets on the property and processing checkout for food orders. The Cook will also perform other related tasks such as food preparation and maintaining kitchen sanitation/cleanliness as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager. This position requires adherence to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department. Compensation:

$18.50 - $19.50 Position Responsibilities: Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served Assists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property Processes checkout and/or return transactions utilizing cash register Cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits, and enters data into ledger Follows standard recipes carefully when preparing all assigned items Proactively seeks knowledge of the menu to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities Assists the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting monthly food/supplies inventory Properly uses and maintains kitchen equipment Performs sanitation and cleaning activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager Distributes food and supplies throughout the food outlets Maintains cleanliness of food production, holding, and serving equipment Assists with product receiving and storage Ensures full compliance with Department of Health regulations Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: 1-2 years of cooking experience preferred 1-2 years of cashier experience preferred High School diploma or equivalent required Experience in managing and maintaining a safe working environment Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures Dependable and reliable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well in a team Ability to follow directions Additional Qualifications:
