Position Overview
The Department of Genetics of the LSU School of Medicine has an opening for a Research Associate 1. Incumbent will collect, process, and biobank patient samples within well-defined guidelines; assist with and conduct biochemical assays on research projects; summarize data; place lab orders; and maintain the lab. Incumbent will also be responsible for assisting in compilation and tabulation of data and perform preliminary analysis as it pertains to the research of the lab.
Minimum Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Master's
Discipline(s) Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or other related scientific discipline
