Pay - $20/hr.
Part-Time up to 15 hours per week
Job Purpose
Provides support for classroom instruction in the online investigative genetic genealogy certificate program.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Attends live virtual classes twice weekly Assists lead instructor in organizing the learning environment, preparing materials, maintaining resources, and grading assignments Provides one-on-one support for students requiring additional assistance applying weekly lessons Substitutes for lead instructor during live classes as needed Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated work experience in investigative genetic genealogy, including leads generated with IGG Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Google Workspace Expertise in GEDmatch and FamilyTreeDNA for IGG Proficiency with IGG-related tools including DNA painter Certificate from the IGG Center Certificate Program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with teaching or leadership in a virtual classroom setting
