The Project Reporter will research and draft a report for the SC Law Initiative to submit to the General Assembly regarding specific legislation. Qualifications: Must be a lawyer and a member of the South Carolina Bar. At least 7 years of legal practice or academic experience related to the legislation topic. Experience in First Amendment Law, Litigation, or family/children’s law preferred. Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills. Ability to work without partisan bias, produce high-quality work, and meet deadlines. Additional Details:
The role involves collaboration with assistant project reporters and a project manager. The initiative provides non-partisan review, requiring impartiality and professionalism.
