Overview
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Site EHS Specialist located in our Maryland Heights, MO facility. Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee the EHS programs and initiate activities that will improve personnel safety, health, and environmental compliance. Develop and administer EHS training for all employees (including outside sales personnel, office staff, as required). Follow incident management processes, conduct timely incident investigations, and ensure timely reporting. Serve as a resource on EHS regulatory requirements, corporate policies and procedures, and adoption into SOPs and WI’s. Create and execute employee training programs to reduce operational risks. Ensure all corrective actions and recommendations are completed and communicated within the expected timeframe (e.g., incident investigations, audit findings, maturity assessments, safety committee actions). Review and update EHS policies and procedures in accordance with Company policies and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain WHMIS and GHS requirements for hazard communication and keep MSDS current. Coordinate Industrial Hygiene surveys as required (air, noise, ergonomics). Ensure required EHS documentation is completed for new processes, materials, and equipment including SOPs, JSA’s, and Lock-out/Tag-out. Coordinate operational First Aid training requirements and records. Review safety-related documents and narratives such as Safety Committee minutes, inspection reports, forklift inspection checklists, accident investigation reports, and near-miss reports. Keep records of all employee training, corrections of unsafe conditions, and dates/results of workplace safety activities; maintain and submit documentation as required. Maintain all weekly, monthly, and yearly safety inspections and all hazardous material checks. Act as management representative for ISO 14001 / 9001 certifications. Oversee annual updates to the safety program, including the Safety Manual, Injury/Illness Prevention Plan, Emergency Procedures Manual, and Emergency Contingency Plan. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
Minimum of valid certification for Standard Intermediate First Aid. Effective written and verbal communication. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal/local EHS regulations. Experience with formal problem solving and root cause analysis. Ability to function in a team environment, manage multiple priorities and projects. Strong proficiency in MS Office; benchmarking operations experience is a plus. Data analysis skills. Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field preferred. Three years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting. Without a Bachelor’s degree, seven years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Equipment Used
Standard office equipment. Working Conditions
Significant time on the production floor (60%). Exposure to varying temperatures in manufacturing environments. Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; facilitating training on other shifts occasionally required. Benefits And Perks
