Acadia Healthcare . We are looking for a Full-Time Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our team! This position facilitates the substance use disorder recovery process for clients in a trauma-informed care setting that promotes a strong team environment of support. Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Providing Joint Commission standards and DE licensure criteria to all aspects of treatment and documentation. Conducting individual sessions, facilitating process groups, and psychoeducational lectures. Demonstrating knowledge and application of ASAM criteria. Working with the Clinical Director to assure guidance and support for clinical growth. The CADC functions as a member of the clinical services team that provides screening, assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, case management, and education. The CADC utilizes evidence-based, best practices to engage and help motivate clients to commit to treatment and to assist clients in identifying and problem-solving individual and systemic barriers to treatment.
