Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. Part time Responsibilities
Your Impact:
Elevate patient care:
Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans. Master ophthalmic testing:
Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more. Perform advanced diagnostics:
Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography. Assist in surgical procedures:
Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking. Streamline patient flow:
Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff. Administer eye drops:
(Certification Required) Contribute to clinic efficiency:
Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
What You'll Bring / Requirements
A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician. Knowledge of medical office procedures. Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice. High School Diploma or equivalent. Bonus Points
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification. Key Skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Proficiency in data entry and typing. Outstanding customer service skills. Additional Details
