What you will be doing:

Oversee and execute the full spectrum of collision repairs on all classes of vehicles, with a strong emphasis on heavy-duty trucks, semi-trucks, and commercial equipment, as well as passenger vehicles.

Perform intricate metalwork, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repairs on steel and aluminum.

Repair and fabricate fiberglass components and structures.

Utilize advanced welding techniques (primarily MIG) to ensure strong and precise repairs of body panels and structural elements.

Diagnose and resolve complex electrical malfunctions across a variety of vehicle systems.

Master bodywork and paint preparation, including precise filler application, meticulous sanding, and proper priming techniques (strong painting skills are a significant asset).

Serve as a mentor and resource for B and C level technicians, providing guidance to improve technical proficiencies and quality workmanship.

Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and safe shop environment, adhering to best practices.

Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, management, and potentially clients.

Demonstrate consistent punctuality and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

What you must have:

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the collision repair industry, with a demonstrable track record of handling complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles.

Proven expertise and hands-on experience working on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers, in addition to passenger vehicles.

Mastery of bodywork and paint preparation, including precise filler application, meticulous sanding, and proper priming techniques.

Must possess and maintain a comprehensive set of professional-quality autobody repair tools.

Advanced proficiency in MIG welding techniques and the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues in various vehicle makes and models.

A strong work ethic, a positive team-oriented attitude, and a reputation for dependability and reliability.

Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and safe shop environment, adhering to best practices.

Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, management, and customers.
