Girls Soccer Assistant Coaches (2) at Plano High School for the 2025-26 School Year
General Description of Position
Assists HC in a summer/offseason program to develop skills and strength
Assists HC and is timely with appropriate management and paperwork requirements for things such as eligibility, registration, match scores, records, etc.
Cooperates with the athletic and school administration to provide a quality athletic experience for all athletes
Provides proper supervision and administration of locker room, training room, and bus trips
Maximizes practice time for both individual and team development
Assists/Supports the HC in developing a well organized practice schedule which utilizes their staff at all levels
Assists/Supports the HC in developing a well-defined academic plan for all students to increase academic performance
Participates in banquets and recognizes athletes for their accomplishments
Is concerned about the care of equipment, including issuance, collection, inventory, and storage
Communicates with administration about athletic equipment requests, budget needs, unusual events, etc.
Follows proper district procedure for the purchase of equipment and operates within the budget
Attends all-conference meetings and stays in compliance with IHSA requests
Maintains communication with feeder coaches, programs, parents, athletes, and the program both within and outside the season
Qualifications PEL required or certified coach, ASEP, and/or substitute certification
Compensation Based on Plano CUSD 88's Collective Bargaining Agreement.
