Overview
The Milford Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies for full-time Police Officer. Minimum qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent; be 21 years old at time of appointment; possess a valid driver\'s license; be a U.S. citizen; be in good physical condition; and possess the ability and desire to work with the public. Candidates will be required to complete a rigorous hiring process, including: written exam; physical agility testing; oral board; psychological exam; polygraph exam and medical/physical exam; as well as an extensive background check. Competitive salary range with full Town benefits. The position requires a commitment to public service and adherence to department policies and standards. Responsibilities

NH Retirement System, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, leave benefits (prorated) include 2 weeks vacation, 32 hours personal, 10 holidays and 10 sick days. Health insurance
- 3 HMO plans. One with 85/15 premium split, one Limited Provider plan with 100% of the premium paid and one High Deductible HSA plan with 100% of the premium paid. If opting out of health insurance (requires proof of coverage on another group plan), opt out amounts are $3,500 for single, $7,000 for 2 person and $10,000 for family plan.
