Fuel Tanker Truck Senior Driver - Day Shift, Mon-Fri
We are looking for local and regional fuel transport drivers to join our small, “family first” company, who are committed to getting the job done safely and efficiently. This full-time position features local and regional driving opportunities primarily within 350-400 miles of Santa Fe Springs (Los Angeles), CA. Humboldt Pacific LLC is a fuel transport company that safely transports bulk fuel and other petroleum commodities throughout California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Utah. Our focus is in the transportation of bulk aviation fuels, however, we also specialize in transporting a variety of other petroleum-based products. Responsibilities: Transports deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company policy and applicable State & Federal regulations. Applies knowledge and abilities to safely load and unload deliveries according to the capacity of the load and content description. Processes and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation and submits in a timely manner. Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during route/shift. Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image. Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues. Maintains a daily, legible DOT log book and submits logbooks as required by company policy. Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure. Requirements: Must hold a valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT, and Tank Endorsement Senior driver considered after 5th year of tanker driving experience Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3-year period No more than 2 accidents within a 3-year period DOT Drug Screening required No Felony convictions No DUI's/DWI's within the last 7 years What We Offer: Competitive Compensation with Attractive Annual Earnings DOE Overtime pay Petroleum Driver Training Program Paid Vacation Life Insurance Plan 401k Savings Program Employee Recognition Bonus Program We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
