Los Angeles Greater Area,US Job Description The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles Metropolitan Area is a non-profit research institute that is dedicated to better understanding the molecular basis of disease and improving human health. Role Description We are looking for a Research Lab Technician passionate about cancer research. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Lab Technician will be responsible for carrying out laboratory experiments in lung cancer biology. He/she will also be responsible for experimental planning, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting others with specific laboratory procedures. The role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary and diverse team and contributing to the institute’s research initiatives in a dynamic environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field (e.g., Biological Sciences). Master’s Degree is a plus but not required Experience in conducting bench laboratory research. Experience with mouse models of cancer is a plus. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and experimental techniques in biochemistry and cell biology. Strong organizational and time management skills.
