KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure
Coordinate installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
Work directly with users to prioritize requests and regularly update them on progress and estimated delivery timeframe
Coordinate support escalation communication; contribute to project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation
Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes; provide on-call production support including off-hours and weekend support
Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment with understanding of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems and working knowledge of SANs
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish are required
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting skills using Windows OS tools (Event Logs, Perfmon, NetSH, PowerShell)
Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across the server estate
Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
