The Database Analyst works in a client-facing role supporting the Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Authority. Primary responsibilities are around tier II and tier III support on all aspects of systems engineering, database administration, development, data interface design, and service ticket support. The role supports the senior database administrator in troubleshooting and resolving tickets. Job Responsibilities
Provide knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art hardware and software design, development, and system implementation requirements. Define interaction and interface among different categories of requirements and develop appropriate design to support the requirements while employing engineering methodologies. This role will support the senior database administrator in troubleshooting and resolving tickets. Understanding of ERDs, OLTP, OLAP, Oracle administration, Oracle Analytics, and ITSM (Service Now), network troubleshooting, and helpdesk required. Required Skills/Qualifications
5 years of demonstrated experience managing a wide variety of technical and administrative projects; including experience in assisting technical staff, team members and contractors. Expertise in documentation, and presentation tools Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills Preferred Experience
Oracle OAS, Power BI, and ITSM certifications preferred. Education
Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of demonstrated experience managing a wide variety of technical and administrative projects. Or Masters Seniority level
