Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for an Engineer to join our dynamic Diagnostics Group. The qualified candidate will have relevant experience acquiring Structural Diagnostics business with either an industrial or commercial structure focus. Project Management experience is required. The
Engineer
will be responsible for managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office, focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics related work. This engineer will also assist in marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group. Experience and interest in restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering work are preferred. The candidate should possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, and work well within a team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are required. Qualifications
Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures (preferred) 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience with proven growth Professional Engineer License in the state of the home office Ability to proactively communicate with clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) Experience with Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT) Knowledge of Structural engineering software (SAP, ETABS, RAM Concept) Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines Willingness to travel on short notice Strong customer service focus Walter P Moore is an equal opportunity employer, providing competitive compensation and benefits, and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
