Overview
STAFF ARCHITECT - RETAIL. Growing architecture & design studio well-established in high-end retail & hospitality design is currently hiring Staff Architects for their New York City office. Responsibilities
Architects will be responsible for everyday project activities, quality control and project delivery, overseeing all phases of the project from design to contract document and specification production, shop drawing checks, site visitation and project closeout. Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of projects. Direct the hands-on drawing production efforts of the project team. Direct and coordinate workload with the project team and consultants to meet schedules. Review architectural documents for coordination with all disciplines. Apply extensive knowledge of the project development process including construction, retail design, site planning, structural and MEP criteria. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Masters preferred. Experience with retail, commercial and mixed-use design projects. Proficient in current version of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Word and MS Excel. How to apply
