Remote (Italy) Your mission We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Sales Manager
to lead the growth of our
Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions
business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for battery energy storage systems (BESS) tailored to C&I customers across various industries. You will work closely with engineering, product, and project management teams to deliver compelling proposals and drive revenue growth in the C&I segment. Your main responsibilities Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for C&I energy storage solutions in your region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients, including direct customers, developers, EPCs, and utilities. Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure long-term engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to customize technical and commercial offerings based on client needs. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine sales tactics. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings. Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior management. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on energy storage, renewable energy, or related clean tech sectors. Strong understanding of the C&I energy market, including customer economics, energy tariffs, and grid services. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical B2B environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
