PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leading provider of aviation component repair, overhaul, and approved replacement parts in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a talented FileMaker Developer to support critical aircraft MRO operations. This is a first‑shift role offering competitive pay of 70–115.38 / hour based on experience.
About the Role As a FileMaker Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain custom FileMaker solutions that streamline and enhance business processes across the shop floor. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, helping our team deliver high‑quality, innovative solutions to aviation customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Develop, deploy, and maintain a large in‑house FileMaker solution for internal and external stakeholders.
Create complex scripts, calculations, and workflows to automate tasks and boost productivity.
Integrate FileMaker with other systems, APIs, and external databases.
Troubleshoot, debug, and test solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Assist with user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
Stay current with FileMaker best practices and new features.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with IT staff on system design and architecture.
Required Qualifications
Expert knowledge of relational database concepts and FileMaker scripting, calculations, and layouts.
Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and performance optimization.
Ability to design intuitive, user‑friendly interfaces.
Experience with security management, user access control, and data protection.
Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience as a FileMaker Developer.
Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, and REST APIs.
Experience integrating FileMaker with other software applications.
FileMaker certification is a plus.
Pay Details 70.00 to 115.38 per hour
