Must be able to work 12-hour schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, etc.) 8am to 8pm Availability Sunday – Saturday 8 am to 8 pm Salary

$24/hr and up (pending experience) Major Job Function

Our Quality Technician is responsible for in‑process inspection and testing quality verification. Ensure all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non‑conforming material. Follow all safety policies and procedures In‑process inspection and test verification for Quality and Food Packaging Safety requirements Ensure all QA bench‑top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly Documentation, sampling and quarantining of non‑conforming material; maintain other sample requirements as defined Ability to work independently and as part of a team; effective communication; positive attitude and well organized Comfortable working with quality testing equipment on site Assist QA manager in generating work instructions and lab test methods Keep lab equipment and instruments in good operational status; perform calibration and verification to ISO requirements Other tasks as assigned Requirements

Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics Two to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/experience Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment preferred Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effective communication, positive attitude and well organized Ability to make independent decisions regarding quality and customer complaints Strong math skills and attention to detail Good computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, etc) Note: This description reflects the current responsibilities and requirements for the Quality Test Technician role as posted.
