Neuro Critical Care NP

Parkview Health . We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our neuro critical care team. A qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate intra-interdepartmentally with community organizations, multitask, and use critical thinking to serve patients. Schedule and Responsibilities
Weekdays 5:00-5:30pm, occasional 7:00-7:30pm weekends and holidays on rotation (1:3). No call. Inpatient setting at PRMC with outreach clinics. Collaboration with 6 other NP and Neurologists. Opportunities to participate in quality improvements and patient care initiatives. Procedures: intubations, arterial and central line placement. Collaboration with attending physician for clinical rounds, family conversations, documentation, procedural training/oversight. Day-to-day acute patient management of ICU-level conditions: stroke, recurrent seizures, neuro-muscular emergencies, neuro-prognostication after cardiac arrest, post-operative neurosurgical management. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional). Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. Certifications: BLS, ACLS/ACLS-EP, PALS, ATLS, CSR (as required by specialty). Details
