Overview Technicians need to be available to help pull cable and terminate keystone-style jacks at a large construction site.
Responsibilities
Pulling, terminating and testing Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
Installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
Review all job documentation for assigned projects, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, conduit call-outs, wall elevations, signal flow diagrams, and cable pull schedules
Qualifications
Must have PPE before starting: hard hat with chin strips, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, vest
Looking for technicians with positive attitudes and strong communication skills
Entry level experience
Tools and Equipment
Paladin Technologies Telecommunications Technician Tool List (Required Tools)
Lvl 1 techs can acquire tools within the first weeks; Lvl 2 expect to have tools on day 1
Tool Pouch, Pencil/Pen/Sharpie, Knife, Wire Strippers, Punchdown tool, Flashlight/Headlamp, 10-in-1 Screwdriver, Security bit screwdriver, Torpedo level, Hammer, Channel locks, Tape measure (25'+), Diagonal cutters, Long-nose pliers, Drywall saw, Low voltage snips
Experience Level Entry level
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00/hr

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Austin, TX.
