Power Platform Developer
– Hybrid – Austin, TX Kanak Elite Services is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, develop, test, and document solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related services. The role focuses on expanding the Cloud Power Platform and delivering specific solutions such as an Invoice Tracking System. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate user requests and determine feasibility and scope of new or modified applications. Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Formulate and execute detailed development plans using structured analysis or object‑oriented design. Design, develop, and implement solutions in Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Develop and support Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, and Power Pages portals. Integrate Power Platform solutions with external services, products, and other databases. Collaborate with functional and technical staff throughout the project lifecycle, participating in Agile development and sprint planning. Provide training and mentorship to other developers on the Microsoft Power Platform. Adhere to and promote best practices for Power Platform application development and operations. Minimum Requirements
8 Years: Experience in SaaS and/or PaaS environments. 4 Years Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform development experience. 4 Years Preferred: Hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Pages, connectors, and Power Automate. 2 Years Preferred: Design and development of Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model‑Driven Apps using Dataverse or SharePoint. 2 Years Preferred: Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. 2 Years Preferred: Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with functional and technical staff. 2 Years Preferred: Ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross‑functional teams. 2 Years Preferred: Ability to train and mentor other developers on Power Platform. 2 Years Preferred: Experience in Agile development and sprint planning. 1 Year Preferred: Experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor. 1 Year Preferred: Experience extending Power Platform and Power Pages using JavaScript and custom plug‑ins. 1 Year Preferred: Good understanding of Dataverse tables and connectors. 1 Year Preferred: Good understanding of Power BI. 1 Year Preferred: Good understanding of Power Platform best practices and Center of Excellence. 1 Year Preferred: Experience implementing agile methodologies for Texas Agencies. 1 Year Preferred: Prior experience in healthcare or public health. 1 Year Preferred: Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Apps portals.
