General Dynamics Electric Boat . The Industrial Security Office is looking for an Information Security Professional with Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager experience. This individual will be responsible for managing a National Security Agency (NSA) COMSEC account and will provide support with the industrial security requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This position requires an industrial security professional with experience in physical security, communications security and safeguarding requirements of classified material (e.g. CCI, UNCLAS, CON, Secret, etc.) and will provide assistance on a wide range of security related issues. Travel to off-site locations for installation and auditing may be required. Responsibilities

Manage a COMSEC program in accordance with NSA/CSS policy Manual 3-16 and other government regulations Implement and oversee procedures to maintain government compliance and accountability standards for Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) materials Be responsible for ordering, tracking, receiving, issuing, accounting for, safeguarding, and destroying all COMSEC material Oversee and assist Local Element Accounts with routine COMSEC maintenance, training and auditing Assist in physical security assessments Conduct periodic and government mandated inspections, inventories, and audits for all COMSEC material Maintain knowledge of cryptographic procedures including use of key loading devices, configuring High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptors (HAPIEs)/TACLANEs, STE and Viper phones Administer COMSEC accounting material control using DIAS and KMI systems Provide support to compliance activities and the FSO during inspections by cognizant security agencies Investigate, document, and report all COMSEC incident reports to applicable government sponsoring agencies Perform courier duties for COMSEC material and equipment to support off-site locations Remain compliant with all NSA and other government agency guidance and training related to COMSEC Process and track various briefings Prepare for semi-annual NSA audits and Self Inspections Travel to off-site locations for installation and auditing Duties

COMSEC Device Maintenance with CPITT, PMW 770 NAVSEA, NSA and EB COMSEC personnel Disposition and replacement of failed COMSEC equipment Weekly, Monthly and Annual electronic rekeying of various encryptors Assist with various briefings Inventory reporting and inspections Shipping and receiving of equipment Help to establish the CLB COMSEC program Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED 4+ years of Communications Security experience US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Final DoD Top Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule Formal Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Training CompTIA Security+, or Network+ Certification Prior Military Service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of the Groton Shipyard and all EB Off-Site Locations Skills

Ability to complete COMSEC Account Manager Training Working Knowledge of NSA 3-16 and CMS-1(Series) Ability to use various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Access) Ability to lift / carry up to 40 lbs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Qualifications
