Senior Discovery Attorney

Job Overview A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Discovery Attorney to support case teams and clients throughout the entire discovery process. This role will involve advising on all phases of discovery, from preservation through production, and managing case-specific eDiscovery workflows. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in eDiscovery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Location Duties Advise clients and case teams on all phases of eDiscovery, including preservation, collection, processing, review, and production. Provide guidance on pre-litigation information governance, deposition/witness preparation, and trial preparation as necessary. Collaborate with attorneys, technologists, and clients to design and implement eDiscovery workflows and protocols. Oversee the work of junior attorneys, project attorneys, technologists, and service providers, ensuring the quality and consistency of deliverables. Focus on risk mitigation, cost control, and defensibility in managing eDiscovery processes. Requirements 5 to 7 years of experience in eDiscovery and litigation support. Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice. Strong understanding of eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications eDiscovery certifications (e.g., Relativity Certified Pro, Certified E-Discovery Specialist) preferred. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other corporate messaging and collaboration tools. Expertise with Relativity is strongly preferred.
