Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas. I. POSITION OBJECTIVE

To detect external corrosion, leakage, insulation damage, and coating abnormalities of process pipelines and equipment within the FPC TX complex. Use sensory or auxiliary equipment to conduct inspections to ensure the safe operation of equipment. II. QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Be able to obtain within 90 days of employment and hold a “TWIC” –Transportation Workers Identification Card for the duration of employment. One year of experience as a process operator or maintenance technician. Ability to utilize personal protective equipment needed to perform essential job functions. III. TRAINING

Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire. Completed the following practical training (uponassuming the position):

VT testing technology training Painting Construction QC training Fixed equipment and pipeline external visual inspection practical training Obtain Visual Testing (VT) Level 1 – NDT (within one year of hire date) Must submit a vision examination certificate, valid for 12 months.
