A law firm is looking for a
Real Estate Paralegal
in the Dallas area to join their team on a remote basis. The Paralegal will support attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on commercial closings, from contract to post-closing. This includes preparing closing documents, coordinating due diligence, and managing communication with all transaction parties. Assist attorneys with preparation, review, and organization of closing documents for commercial real estate transactions. Coordinate all aspects of the closing process, including title commitments, surveys, escrow instructions, and closing checklists. Liaise with title companies, lenders, clients, and other parties to ensure timely and accurate closings. Conduct and review due diligence, including zoning reports, lien searches, and corporate entity documentation. Prepare and file various corporate and real estate documents, such as deeds, UCC filings, organizational documents, and certificates of good standing. Organize and maintain electronic and physical closing binders and transaction files. Track deadlines and manage critical dates for closings and deliverables. Assist with post-closing matters, including recording of documents and resolution of title or funding issues. Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on commercial real estate closings. Strong knowledge of real estate law, title and survey review, and escrow procedures. Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and entity formation. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments, iManage). Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience required. Seniority level
