Overview

Our growing client in the animal health space is seeking a results-driven individual to join their team, focusing on expanding the market presence of our partners within the veterinary industry. This position will assist in the administration, maintenance, and support of their enterprise IT environment — including user accounts, systems, networking, and security infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills across multiple IT domains and work closely with senior team members in a dynamic corporate setting. Responsibilities

Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune Management

Manage user and computer accounts, permissions, and group policies. Support configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Intune policies and profiles. Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and assist in AD/Entra ID troubleshooting. Support the use and management of cloud storage systems such as OneDrive and SharePoint.

Operating System Administration

Manage users, permissions, and groups across Windows 11, Windows Server, and macOS environments. Configure system settings, updates, and security policies. Maintain and troubleshoot file systems and directory structures. Assist in desktop and server setup, deployment, and upgrades.

Networking Concepts

Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, and DNS. Set up, secure, and maintain wired and wireless network connections. Collaborate with senior IT staff to monitor network performance and security.

Reporting and Analysis

Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Develop and manage the marketing budget, track expenses, and report on budget performance to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Cloud & Virtualization

Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual machines using Hyper-V and VMware. Manage virtualized guests, troubleshoot performance issues, and perform basic resource allocation. Navigate and manage enterprise cloud storage solutions (OneDrive, SharePoint).

Security Practices

Understand and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) policies. Apply operating system and application security patches in coordination with IT leadership. Use endpoint protection and antivirus management tools to maintain system integrity.

Hardware & Infrastructure

Set up and maintain PCs, printers, scanners, docking stations, and related hardware. Perform basic server maintenance tasks such as restarts, storage checks, and simple backups. Troubleshoot and repair common hardware and firmware issues. End user support for onsite and remote employees for troubleshooting technology related issues.

Database & Scripting (Preferred)

Execute and modify basic SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE). Ability to develop utility and automation scripts as needed. Understand basic data import/export and database performance concepts.

Qualifications and Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 1–3 years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and enterprise management tools (Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Demonstrated eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team. Seniority level
