Mid Data Engineer Join as a mid-level Data Engineer, building advanced technology solutions on mission-driven projects in the health and national security sectors.

The Opportunity Ever-expanding technology such as IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence creates more structured and unstructured data than ever before. As a data engineer, you will organize this data and help our clients uncover insights that impact critical missions—from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence.

You Have

Experience programming clean, secure, and efficient Java for scripting, data analysis, automation, and data warehousing.

Experience performing tuning on large datasets in Oracle databases to optimize performance.

Experience writing scripts to automate processes in the development workflow, including building, deploying, or managing Java applications.

Experience with CI/CD practices to automate builds, testing, and deployments.

Experience writing PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures for data manipulation, parsing, and processing within Oracle databases.

Ability to work in a complex enterprise environment and determine the best solution required for business and customer needs.

Ability to manage tasks and projects independently with minimal guidance and direction.

Secret clearance.

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience as a data engineer in a large-volume enterprise system, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.

Nice If You Have

Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.

Experience designing and creating data warehousing solutions.

Experience with DevOps tools and principles for collaboration and automation.

Experience working in various SDLC models such as Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, or Spiral.

Experience delivering solutions across all phases of the development lifecycle.

Knowledge of Informatica's role in data warehousing and business intelligence.

Knowledge of the benefits and usage of stored procedures, including for performance optimization and security.

Knowledge of Oracle database concepts, including partitioning for very large databases (VLDBs).

Top Secret clearance.

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.

Compensation Salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work Model

If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you will periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.

If this position is listed as onsite, you will work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
