Overview
Full-time Attorney position for Texas Family Initiative LLC in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and surrounding counties. Requirements: Juris Doctorate degree; licensed to practice law in Texas; valid driver’s license; meet agency underwriting standards. Responsibilities
Direct, administer, and coordinate the activities of the organization in support of the policies, goals, and objectives established by the Agency Board of Directors. Conduct legal research and provide legal consultation on subpoenas, requests for records, and other legal discovery requests. Support the case management contract with court attendance, staff preparation for trials and appeals, addressing no reasonable efforts findings, and managing Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) cases. Advocate for cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in day-to-day interactions; promote teamwork in all activities. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree; licensed to practice law in Texas; valid driver’s license; ability to meet agency underwriting standards. Compassionate, eager to learn, and capable of handling legal research and advisory duties. What We Offer
Salary: Approximately $105,063 per year (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). Flexible scheduling; 20 days of personal leave in the first year, 25 days after one year; 12 paid holidays.
