We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to oversee the production of brass ammunition casings with a commitment to excellence and precision. In this role, you will be pivotal in establishing and implementing processes, policies, and acceptance criteria to ensure strict adherence to specifications across our entire facility. The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall quality system of the organization. Responsibilities include managing the day to day quality operation activities and team.

Quality Manager Essential Job Functions

Manage location wide continuous improvement program through data analysis.

Collect and perform statistical analysis of data related to interval and supplier quality, leading of corrective action, problem solving (e.g. Six- Sigma) and improvement opportunities such as manufacturing & design engineering, quality, supply chain and production.

Provide expertise in quality system compliance and customer specific requirements and products.

Lead a team in maintaining and improving product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, manufacturing, and training methods.

Develop process improvements to increase production output, reduce scrap and increase quality.

Quality Manager Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree* in Business Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering or related field.

5 years of quality or engineering experience in a manufacturing setting with at least 1 year managing others.

Six Sigma (Black or Green) Belt Certification or other Quality related certification preferred.

Proficiency with Total Quality Management process evaluation techniques.

Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments.

Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including, but not limited to, continuous standing/walking and occasionally picking up material weighing up to 50 pounds.

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.

Location-Specific Requirements

This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
