The Senior SQL Developer will focus on the development, maintenance, and support of Platform applications. This role is critical to delivering essential product requirements and will involve interaction with a culturally and technically diverse team, including .NET developers, SQL developers, QA specialists, and product management teams. The successful candidate will leverage advanced SQL development skills to create robust, scalable, and optimized database solutions. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation (using Agile and Scrum methodologies). Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes. Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies using tools like Always On, Transactional Replication, and Clustering. Optimize query performance through tuning and query optimization techniques. Create and manage PowerShell scripts and automation modules for SQL Server environments. Utilize source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket to manage code changes. Troubleshoot and resolve performance and connectivity issues within Windows Server and WSFC environments. Develop dynamic SQL and stored procedures for efficient data management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and develop software applications. Mentor junior team members and encourage a knowledge-sharing environment. Create detailed and professional documentation, including project specs, technical documents, and design specifications. Conduct integration tests to assess the impact of software changes on other systems and ensure successful deplo yment. Required Qualifications:

8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong expertise in SQL development, including advanced skills in T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. In-depth understanding of database design best practices, data modeling, and normalization techniques. Extensive experience with SQL BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS). Proficiency in using source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket. Experience with scripting/programming languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python. High-level knowledge of Windows Server and WSFC for managing HA and DR. Proven experience with performance tuning and query optimization. Expertise in creating ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams) for both physical and logical database models. Solid understanding of SDLC, particularly Agile methodologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with MSDTC (Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator) and MSMQ (Microsoft Message Queuing). Hands-on experience with PowerShell module creation for SQL Server management and automation. Familiarity with designing scalable applications and understanding of various architectural patterns. Certifications (if any):

Relevant certifications in SQL Server, database management, or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, SQL Server certifications) are preferred but not required.
