Overview The Credit analyst position will utilize organizational, computer, and communication skills to support the credit team and the sales staff at Mueller to meet customer commitments.

Responsibilities

Processing credit applications in a timely and accurate manner

Preparing and sending monthly customer account statements

Prompt and courteous responses to internal and external requests

Perform accurate recordkeeping duties, system entries, and updates. Process vendor invoices and general administrative transactions. Coordinate work with others and communicate effectively to accomplish required job duties and responsibilities.

Processing transaction information including

Customer refunds

8300 forms

Job information for lien reports

Changes in customer information

Willing and able to work as part of a team with additional duties and responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the credit team and the company

Qualifications

3 plus years of experience in credit and collections

Working knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred

Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets and word processing

Excellent communication skills

Able to multi-task while flexible to changing demands

Excellent organizational skills

Experience working in multiple computer systems

Self-starter who can work without constant supervision after training
