OB/GYN needed for locum tenens coverage at a facility in North Carolina. Dates needed: January – ongoing. Location: North Carolina. Assignment type: Inpatient with call; shift type: Call. Responsibilities
Perform C-sections and GYN surgeries as required. Manage hospital call (beeper) and participate in on-site obstetric and gynecologic care. Handle an average case load of 30-40 deliveries per month. Coordinate care for high-risk cases, noting that there is no Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) on staff and high-risk cases are transferred out. Fill one full-time equivalent (FTE) position due to retirement; midlevel providers are not being considered. Qualifications
