Overview
Global leader in residential real estate franchising and brokerage is seeking a Senior Desktop Support professional for a contract-to-hire role in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. The primary focus is providing daily support for staff and sales associates’ end-user technologies in a local network environment. The Desktop Support role works cross-functionally with other teams in the broader ITIL organization to ensure customers receive the support they need, engaging with WAN Engineers, Messaging Engineers, Logical Access Team, Application Development Teams, Facilities Teams, Telecom and various other Business Unit partners to resolve issues or complete projects. Travel within the Greater West Palm Beach area is required and includes Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Cape Canaveral, Delray Beach, Hobe Sound, Melbourne, Palm Beaches, Port St Lucie, Stuart and Wellington. Use of a personal vehicle is required with mileage reimbursement. Contract Duration: 3 months. Location: West Palm Beach, Florida area. Responsibilities
Provides hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers as well as mobile devices. Configures workstations for new users and upgrades existing equipment and software. Sets up and maintains network and telecommunication systems; troubleshoots LAN, server and connectivity issues. Utilizes ticketing and hardware asset management systems. Re-images computers, performs data migrations and restorations, and conducts remote problem solving as needed. Collaborates with team members on local and national projects, contributing to delivery of technology products, programs, services and improvements in Agile Product development. Qualifications & Required Skills
Exemplary customer service skills (verbal and written) Proficient Windows and Mac troubleshooting and support Mobile device computing skills Basic network troubleshooting and support Microsoft 365 knowledge ServiceNow and Ivanti experience is a plus Basic hardware troubleshooting Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis High level of emotional intelligence and professional presence Experience with processes and procedures in a large organization is preferable Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize effectively Good time and task management skills; flexible and organized Growth mindset; able to lift 50 lbs. unaided Reliable car Job Details
