We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing community of Snowflake developers. A successful applicant will have a strong background in delivering scalable, cloud-based data solutions, particularly within the Snowflake platform. Additionally, they will have extensive experience in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines, models and architectures, leveraging technologies such as Apache Spark, Dataframes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with experience in integrating CI/CD practices and automated testing into data workflows.You will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, reliable data solutions. Your leadership will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in full alignment with client expectations. Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery within Kubrick’s squads deployed on client project engagements, ensuring that Kubrick is known for the quality of the technical solutions it provides Work with Kubrick & client staff of other disciplines to understand and assess requirements, design solutions and inform delivery planning Seek, build, and maintain effective client relationships contributing to Kubrick’s commercial priorities and supporting our partnering approach to working with clients Line managing developers within the team, supporting their professional and personal development Promote a culture of engineering excellence within KA through curiosity, collaboration and contributions to the internal knowledge base Participating in self-directed or group learning and upskilling (gaining Kubrick funded certifications) to ensure your technical skills stay up to date and industry relevant Required Skills & Experience

Proven Experience in Data Engineering: hands-on experience building and optimising data pipelines, architectures, and large-scale data processing systems, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Expertise in Snowflake: Strong working knowledge of Snowflake including Snowpipe, Snowpark, Tasks and Dynamic Tables and UDFs for developing, scaling, and optimising data engineering workflows. SnowPro certifications are preferred Proficiency in Programming Languages: Python and SQL, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for ETL/ELT processes and data transformations Experience with Cloud-based Architectures: Understanding of cloud-native data solutions, including cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake), data warehousing (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, Redshift), and other cloud services CI/CD and Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for data engineering workflows Data Governance and Security: Experience with data governance frameworks and security best practices Collaborative Mindset: Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to work in team settings to deliver data projects Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to lead delivery teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices and delivery timelines What Kubrick offers
