We are seeking three (3) Records Management Specialists (level 3) to join our growing team as we provide support for our nationwide contract providing services to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in records management and library services. Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree (related field is desired). Three years records management experience, including filing paper and electronic records, entering data into records management systems, preparing records for disposition or retirement, and using records retention schedules. Experience with MS Office applications; Customer service skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently and on teams, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines; Ability to pass a government background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

The RMS 3 uses a records management system (database) for search, retrieval, and data entry, applies records retention schedules to files for the purposes of retention, archiving, and disposition, prepares and reviews file plans, the RMS 3 also responds to customer inquiries, participates in records organization projects, provides basic records training, and assists with records imaging. Assist colleagues with preparing and shipping large batches of records to off-site storage, Maintain daily activity statistics and produce detailed monthly activity reports.
