International financial institution seeks an
Associate Level Credit Analyst
to provide analytical and administrative support to the members of the Japanese and Asian Corporate Banking Department. The position will support Relationship Managers by preparing credit applications, reviewing quarterly financial reports, conducting regular credit reviews of loans in the portfolio, providing research and analytics, assisting RMs in preparing client materials, and other administrative tasks as required. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $76,000 and $120,000, based on your qualifications, especially your knowledge of financial statement analysis. An annual discretionary bonus is available based on your and your team’s performance. Responsibilities
Conduct analysis and research on the performance of borrowers to assess historical performance and future projections, such as cash flow analysis and risk capital calculations. Gather support documentation to structure deals, liaise with middle and back office for KYC purposes, and assist in drafting pre-screen memos for the Credit Department. Conduct quarterly and annual reviews of the loan portfolio and handle various system and procedural issues related to borrowers, such as internal grading, monthly/quarterly reporting, and other ad hoc projects. Assist with amendments, dividend transactions, loan closings, funding, and other credit events that may impact the borrower. Support in preparing client materials, including presentations, proposals, RFPs, and term sheets. Undertake research and analytics related to specific sectors, regions, or loans, and stay updated on current market conditions. Provide ad hoc reports for management. Requirements
Formal credit training at financial institutions preferred. Minimum 3-4 years of experience working at a corporate bank or other financial institution. Some knowledge of banking and prior internships at a bank or financial institution preferred. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred or equivalent education and training. Japanese language skills (business level) preferred but not required. Remote work environment available from other states within the US for qualified candidates. Benefits
