POS IT Support Specialist - Grocery Point of Sale at Business Machines Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to assist customers with Point of Sale systems. Review open tickets, handle inquiries, and assist customers with troubleshooting POS hardware and software issues. Support receipt printers, tagging machines, handheld devices, POS registers, touch screens, and card readers; create sale batches, run reports, reset passwords, and configure new items. Escalate complex issues to developers when needed and document interactions and troubleshooting steps for the knowledge base. Participate in after-hours upgrades and scheduled software implementations; support after-hours duties as needed. Collaborate with colleagues and stay organized, prioritizing tasks to deliver high-quality support. Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; good communication and customer service skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Experience or familiarity with POS systems, hardware, and software; knowledge of networking, databases, and Microsoft Excel is a plus. Education: Associate\'s degree, technical school, or high school diploma; valid driver\'s license with clean driving record. Benefits
